In his childhood, when he saw the photographs that his father made during family trips, Emerson Murakami fell in love with photography and the act of photographing.
The images which that camera captured fascinated him. Feelings, affections, and joy were fixed forever in that boy’s memory through the images revealed by his father.
At the age of 18, he got his first camera: a gift from his father who, with his sensitive eyes, realized the fascination that the equipment had on his son.
Life went on and Murakami became a technician in Buildings and later graduated in Business Administration. The knowledge about straight lines, perspectives, and depth of field, incorporated into his childhood memories, begins to be reflected in his style to photograph. Murakami then creates the scenes in his mind to, later on, see them materialized through the sensitization of the photographic film.
10 years ago, Murakami’s relationship and photography intensified even more. The camera started to make profound changes in his life, showing new angles and bringing a new way of seeing the world around him.
Today his work is recognized for the feeling and emotion subtly incorporated in his photographs, through surprising tones and tones. Murakami’s images affect the observer in the same way that he is touched by the special moments he experiences when he is immersed in the conception of the photographic act.
Murakami got specialization inΒ landscape photography by the New York Institute of Photography (2015) and his work has been exhibited in Brazil, the United States, Europe and Asia, as well as illustrating pages in newspapers and specialized magazines.
